Jasper Police arrested a Mitchell man on multiple drug charges Wednesday following a traffic stop at the intersection of US 231 and Indian Street.
31-year-old David Porter was found to be in violation of his driving conditions.
During the stop, a police K9 alerted officers to the presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle.
Officers found Methamphetamine and other drugs.
Porter was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Violation of Driving Conditions.
Porter is being held without bond in the Dubois County Security Center.
