Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul’s legislation regarding the use of AI to create child pornography is now a state law. Governor Pritzker signed legislation that clarifies that Illinois’ child pornography laws apply to images and videos created by artificial intelligence technology. The legislation is designed to crack down on child sexual abuse images throughout Illinois.
