Brown Co. Man Dies in Rollover Crash in Daviess Co.

A Brown County man died late Monday afternoon in a one-vehicle rollover crash on I-69 near the 55-mile marker in Daviess County.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says 76-year-old Philip Wolter of Nashville, Indiana was entrapped in his vehicle.

He was taken to Daviess Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The sheriff’s office says Wolter’s passenger truck was northbound when it ran off the east side of the highway due to road conditions and overturned.
