Indiana Plans to Execute Death Row Inmate for First Time in Years

Indiana is preparing to resume executions after over 15 years.

Joseph Edward Corcoran is scheduled to be executed on Wednesday after being convicted of a 1997 quadruple murder.

If he’s executed, he will be the first person the state has executed since 2009.

Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita has filed a motion to set the execution date for another death row inmate convicted of killing a police officer.
