Knox County Health Department Hosting Free Tire Recycling Event March 29th

The Knox County Health Department will host a free tire recycling event for all Knox County residents on Saturday, March 29th.

The event will take place from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Knox County Highway Garage at 14-72 Old Highway 67.

Health officials say this is an excellent opportunity to safely recycle unwanted tires and help reduce breeding grounds for mosquitoes and other environmental hazards caused by improper tire disposal.

The event is for Knox County residents only and I-D will be required.

Rims will not be accepted.

And no commercial businesses will be allowed.
