Brush Fire Affects North Knox Intermediate School & Bruceville Water Customers

Fire damaged a home Wednesday afternoon on State Road 550 in Bruceville and prompted an E-Learning Day Thursday for students at North Knox Intermediate School.

The fire was reported late Wednesday afternoon when a brush fire turned into a house fire.

Reports say the blaze moved from the brush into the rear of a home on Main Street in Bruceville.

Washington Township firefighters were first on the scene and were assisted by various area fire crews into the evening.

The blaze affected Bruceville Water customers, including North Knox Intermediate School just west of Bruceville on 550.
