Pritzker Blasts Trump’s Education Cuts

Illinois Governor J-B Pritzker is blasting President Trump’s efforts to dismantle the Department of Education.

Speaking at the Illinois Education Association convention Thursday, the governor warned that cuts to federal education funding could be devastating.

The governor said “we’re witnessing one of the most brazen and aggressive efforts to undermine public education in America.”

His comments came after the State of Illinois joined a lawsuit to stop the educational spending cuts.
