A Vincennes man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Vincennes Monday night.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office says the driver, 53-year-old Roger McClure, was known to the deputy due to the anonymous tip line having received a total of four complaints regarding McClure and his wife allegedly dealing methamphetamine out of storage units in Vincennes,
A Knox County Sheriff’s K-9 unit was brought to the scene and alerted deputies to the presence of an illegal substance inside the vehicle.
Methamphetamine, small plastic baggies, a digital scale with methamphetamine residue on it, and a prescription bottle containing medication that was not prescribed to McClure were found in the vehicle.
A search warrant for the storage building was obtained, and more methamphetamine was found.
McClure is being held on $5,000 bond in the Knox County Jail on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and a Legend Drug.
Authorities say additional charges and arrests are pending.
