St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, located in Haysville in Dubois County, has been awarded a $125,000 matching grant from Sacred Places Indiana, a program of Indiana Landmarks.
The grant will be used in ongoing efforts to preserve and maintain the church.
The church says the funds will directly support crucial preservation efforts, including HVAC repair, original door restoration, and other necessary renovations to maintain the integrity and beauty of St. Paul’s Church.
Founded in 1848, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church has been a pillar of faith and fellowship in the community for over 175 years.
