Death Row Inmate Benjamin Ritchie’s Execution Date Set

Indiana death row inmate Benjamin Ritchie’s execution date has been set.

The Indiana Supreme Court says May 20th will be the day he is put to death.

Ritchie was convicted in 2002 of killing a police officer from Beech Grove.

His request for post-conviction relief was denied by the justices in a 13-page order.
