Wife of Illinois Judge Arrested for Murder

Illinois State Police say the wife of an Illinois judge has been arrested for his murder.

Illinois Second Judicial Circuit Court Judge Michael Valentine was shot to death at his home in Albion earlier this week.

His body was found Tuesday lying outside his residence.

His wife, 44-year-old Megan Valentine, is facing charges of First-Degree Murder, Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm, and Aggravated Domestic Battery.

She is being held in the White County Jail.
