Road Closure Planned for State Road 61 in Pike County

The Indiana Department of Transportation says State Road 61 near Spurgeon in Pike County is scheduled to close Monday, July 15th for a bridge deck overlay project.

The closure will occur just north of County Road 900 South.

Work is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather.

The official detour will be State Road 68 to State Road 57 to State Road 64.

Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
