Speeding Vehicle Leads to Arrest of Shelburn Man for Impaired Driving/Marijuana

Indiana State Police say a Shelburn man is facing charges of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Possession of Marijuana following a traffic stop Sunday night on US 50 in Shoals in Martin County.

A state trooper pulled over 34-year-old Carl McKenzie for Speeding.

Police say McKenzie showed visible signs of impairment and was transported to Daviess Community Hospital for a chemical test.

He was arrested and taken to the Martin County Jail County Jail.
