Fire destroyed the Princeton Church at 128 West Street in Princeton Monday afternoon.
Firefighters from Princeton and area fire departments battled not only the fire but freezing temperatures.
There were a couple of minor injuries reported due to the weather conditions, but none required medical attention.
A sweep of the church by Princeton police determined no one was inside.
Part of the church’s roof collapsed as did one of its exterior walls.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
