Washington High School Graduate Gains Experience at Indiana Statehouse

State Senator Eric Bassler of Washington says Ali Barber is serving as an intern for the Indiana Senate Majority Caucus during the 2025 legislative session.

Barber, a resident of Washington, is the daughter of Anne and John Barber.

Barber graduated from Washington High School and is a graduate of Indiana University, with degrees in law and public policy.

She will begin studies at Indiana University’s McKinney School of Law in the fall.

Senate Majority interns work through the duration of the legislative session, which is scheduled to end by April 29th.
