Lane Closures Planned for U.S. 41 in Northern Knox County

The Indiana Department of Transportation says lane closures are scheduled to begin next Monday on US 41 near Oaktown in northern Knox County for a bridge deck replacement project.

The lane closures will occur in both north and southbound passing lanes of U.S. 41 between Old U.S. 41 and Freelandville Road.

IN-DOT says the project involves the bridge spanning the CSX railroad tracks.

The work is expected to last through September, depending on the weather.
