Olney, IL Parents Arrested After Five-Year-Old Brings Marijuana to Preschool

The parents of a five-year-old Olney, Illinois child are facing charges after marijuana was found in the child’s clear backpack at an Olney preschool.

In addition to marijuana, Olney police also found THC dabs and rolling papers in the backpack.

Preschool staff said there were students ranging in age from 3 to 5 years old present at the time the marijuana was found.

After searching the parent’s home, Olney Police arrested 44-year-old Jason Frederick and 43-year-old Kristin Boland for Possession of Methamphetamine and Endangering the Life or Health of a Child.
