The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office says a Vincennes woman and a Plainville man were arrested on drug charges early Monday morning during a traffic stop on US 41 and Allendale.
A Terre Haute Police K9 was brought in and alerted officers to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies found about 131 grams of Methamphetamine, 22 grams of THC gummies, over $11,000 in cash, a handgun and ammunition.
The driver, 38-year-old Monique Peach of Vincennes, is facing charges of Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun, Possession of a Firearm by a Domestic Batterer, Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance.
A passenger, 53-year-old Brian Riker of Plainville, is charged with Dealing in and Possession of Methamphetamine.
