Washington Boys Basketball Coach Announces Retirement

Washington Boys Basketball Coach Gene Miiller announced his retirement Wednesday after 50 years of coaching Indiana High School Basketball.

Coach Miiller received numerous awards over his career including induction into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, Wabash College Hall of Fame, and The John Wooden Legacy Award.

Coach Miiller finishes with a career record of 779 wins and 391 losses.

The last twenty years at the helm of the Hatchets he was 311-163 including three Class 3A state championships in 2008, 2010, and 2011.
