Severe storms are possible late Friday night into early Saturday, with damaging winds the primary threat, along with heavy rain/localized flooding and isolated tornadoes.
Gibson County residents are being advised that three of the county’s outdoor weather sirens, on the South, East, and West sides of Princeton, are not working.

The Sheriff’s Office as well as the county EMA encourage citizens to have at least two other sources to obtain weather alerts beside the weather sirens.
Cell phones, weather radios, television, and traditional radio can be used to obtain weather related alerts.
The public is cautioned not to rely on the outdoor weather sirens as they are designed to be heard outdoors, and you may not be able to hear the siren indoors or while asleep.
