Daviess and Gibson Counties shared the state’s lowest jobless rate in June at 3.4%.
That’s eight tenths of a percent higher for both counties than June of 2023.
Martin County’s June unemployment rate stood at 3.5%, four tenths of a percent higher than the year before.
Dubois County also had a 3 ½ percent unemployment rate last month, seven tenths of a percent higher than June of 2023.
Pike County’s rate of 4.1 percent was a half percent higher than June of last year.
Knox County had a jobless rate of 4.2% in June, nine tenths of a percent higher than the year before.
Sullivan County’s June unemployment rate was 4.8 percent, eight tenths of a percent higher.
And Greene County’s June jobless rate stood at 5.1%, eight tenths of a percent higher than June of 2023.
The average unemployment rate of Indiana’s 92 counties in June was 3.7%.
