Sullivan Police arrested two people early Saturday morning after a traffic stop evolved into a foot chase.
An officer attempted to pull over the driver of a vehicle for not dimming their headlights near Main and Wolf Streets.
The driver continued for an extended period of time before finally stopping in the driveway of a nearby residence.
While the officer was speaking with the driver, 29-year-old Cierra Manuel, a passenger, 30-year-old Kassandra Flick, ran from the scene.
Flick fought with the officer and had to be tased to be taken into custody with the assistance of a Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputy.
She is facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Resisting Law Enforcement.
Flick is also wanted on multiple Felony charges out of Greene and Sullivan Counties.
Meanwhile, Manuel is charged with Resisting Law Enforcement in a vehicle, Possession of Legend Drug, and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.
