An Evansville man is facing several charges following a traffic stop Wednesday night in Gibson County.
52-year-old Larry Ames, on parole from the Indiana Department of Corrections, was found to be driving while impaired and in possession of 208 grams of methamphetamine, other illegal drugs, and two handguns.
Ames is facing charges of Possession of Meth over 28 grams, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon, Possession of an Altered Firearm, Dealing in Methamphetamine,
Dealing in Meth While in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Legend Drug, and Possession of Marijuana.
