On Wednesday, April 23rd, from 2:00 until 5:00 PM, unwanted and expired medications can be disposed of during Good Samaritan Hospital’s Drug Take Back Day.
The Good Samaritan Pharmacy staff will be set up at the 6th Street entrance of the hospital under the awning to collect medications.
Good Samaritan will accept vitamins, prescription medication, prescription patches, prescription ointments, pet medication and over-the-counter medication.
Items that won’t be accepted include needles, inhalers, thermometers, aerosol cans, lotions or liquids and hydrogen peroxide.
