Vincennes Area Natives Among This Year’s Rose-Hulman Alumni Award Winners

Two Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology alumni with ties to the Vincennes area were among this year’s Rose-Hulman Alumni Award recipients, recognized for their considerable industry and community contributions, technical patents and publications, and support of the institute.

Tiffany Trusty, formerly from Vincennes and a South Knox High School graduate, received the Alumni Volunteer Award.

Trusty is a digital health and software product development leader with nearly 30 years of experience, joining Eli Lilly and Company in 2017.

Doug Tougaw, a 1991 electrical engineering alum from St. Francisville, Illinois, and a Lawrenceville High School graduate, was a Career Achievement Award recipient.

Tougaw is dean of engineering with Valparaiso University.
