Swiss drugmaker Roche will invest 50-billion dollars in the U.S. over the next five years as it weighs the effects of President Trump’s tariffs on imported pharmaceuticals.
The company announced today that the money will create 12-thousand jobs.
It will also be used to create research and development sites while expanding manufacturing in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and California.
Roche Indy is the drug maker’s North American headquarters where more than 4,000 people work.
