Arrest Made in Oakland City Murder Investigation

An arrest is made in a Gibson County murder investigation.

Indiana State Police say 24-year-old Jonathan Fiscus of Oakland City was arrested Friday in the death of his father, 57-year-old Brad Fiscus, also of Oakland City.

Police say they found Brad Fiscus dead when they conducted a welfare check Thursday afternoon at his residence at 314 West Dale Street.

Police say Jonathan Fiscus was arrested while being held in the Edgar County, Illinois Jail in connection with an unrelated incident.

He is currently awaiting extradition.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.

The ISP says this is an active investigation and that no further information is being released.
