Pair Arrested on Drug Charges During Washington Traffic Stop

Washington Police arrested two people on drug charges Saturday during a traffic stop for traveling the wrong way on a one-way street.

A police K9 alerted officers to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle.

A search turned up approximately 10 grams of suspected Cocaine.

30-year-old Jason Hammock of Petersburg and his passenger, 36-year-old Kailee McKee of Linton were arrested for Dealing in and Possession of Cocaine or a Narcotic Drug.

Both are being held without bond in the Daviess County Security Center.
